This exhibition was held as part of the “I LOVE YOU” project, set up to explore the new roles and possibilities of art in contemporary society.
Project participants include students, graduates, and faculty members from Tokyo University of the Arts.
Starting with the conviction that “art loves people,” in 2021 the artists have taken the theme of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and approached some of the problems they see in society.
Why aren’t the arts part of the 17 SDGs?
We hope you will discover in this web archive of the exhibition a variety of initiatives and processes of trial and error that explore whether art can be connected to the SDGs.
この展覧会は、現代社会において芸術が担うべき新たな役目、可能性を見つめるために立ち上がった「I LOVE YOU」プロジェクトの一環として開催されました。
プロジェクトの参加者は、東京藝術大学の学生・卒業生・教職員。
「芸術は、人を愛する」という信念に基づき、2021年は「SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals / 持続可能な開発目標) 」をテーマとし、アーティストたちが当事者として、社会課題に取り組みました。
