「You Are Here」は画像と音を組み合わせたインスタレーション。日本人と外国人によって作られたマップで、展望としては、東京にいるさまざまな人々のためにつながりや共通の場をつくることです。
すべての訪問者のポラロイド写真を撮り、3つの質問（出身地、滞在期間、東京への所属感）をします。写真はその回答に沿ってマップに配置します。また、各参加者それぞれに一つ音符をあてはめ、作曲のアルゴリズムも制作します。
プロジェクト実施期間中、マップには訪問者の写真とデータが追加され内容が増えていきます。すべての音と画像がまとまり、最終的な作品になります。
You Are Here is an installation combining image and sound. It is a map formed by different people in Tokyo, both Japanese and foreigners, and its vision is to create connections and common ground for different people in Tokyo.
A polaroid picture of every visitor is taken and three questions are asked. Each picture is positioned on this map, according to the answers given (Where you are from, for how long you’ve been here and your sense of belonging to Tokyo).
The data will also be put into a music-composition algorithm that will provide a music note for each participant. During the period of time in which the project will take place, the map will continue growing, with each visitor adding their own picture and data. All the sounds and images will be gathered and transformed into a final piece.
